“We want to enable communities and organisations to generate, use and translate data and evidence to create a better future for the people they work with and care for.”

Our purpose

At Stats With Purpose, we believe that data is more than numbers on a page—it is a powerful catalyst for change.

We are purpose-driven and offer specialised services to help communities and organisations generate, understand, and translate data and evidence into meaningful action.

We partner with businesses, service providers, community organisations and government departments to create the insights they need to:

  • Continuously improve their services and products
  • Identify key areas and leverage points for system-wide improvement
  • Demonstrate the effectiveness and impact of their work
  • Turn evidence into practical, implementable recommendations
  • Strengthen strategic planning and decision-making

Our work is grounded in a simple ambition: to help organisations strengthen their services so that the people and communities they support and interact with can thrive.

Everything we do is shaped by a unique blend of technical expertise, lived experience, and a deep commitment to supporting people on their professional development journey. We are passionate about helping organisations use evidence with confidence — and building better futures for the communities they are part of and serve.

Our team has more than 15 years of professional experience in research, data analytics, evaluation, statistics, econometrics and information management across public policy, economics, finance, healthcare and human services.

Having a community focus, we also have extensive expertise in helping small and medium sized organisations in regional Australia, not-for-profit organisations, and service providers in sectors where quality, safety, and impact are critical — Specialist Family Violence Services, Sexual Assault Services, Family Services, Child Protection, Disability Services, and Community Health Services.
